Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of China's experience in the field of media literacy and the possibility of its adaptation and application in Uzbekistan. The
study includes a review of the adopted documents and programs used in China, and a discussion of how these approaches can be integrated in the media environment of Uzbekistan. The work studies the stages and features of the formation of media literacy in the PRC, taking into account the prospects for promoting this direction in Uzbekistan. Separately, the efforts of Uzbekistan to develop media literacy of the population at the state level are emphasized. As a result, a number of recommendations and conclusions will be proposed to improve media literacy in Uzbekistan.
